Bridging the Gap for Hospitality Professionals

How an Australian Traineeship can change your life

Australia is an incredible country and is quickly becoming the destination of choice for people who are craving change. At QLEARNING, our goal is to bring established professionals to Australia by using their unique skill sets to apply for a training visa. Let’s explore how we can make your dreams a reality.

Firstly, what is a 407 Training Visa?

Well, I’m happy to tell you that we have an entire section of our website dedicated to explaining what a training visa is and how you can use it to work in Australia. You can check that out here.
But to summarise; our traineeship program allows our candidates to gain practical experience in Australia, which is particularly beneficial and is proven to result in better career opportunities and higher-paying positions.

A traineeship is a work-based skills development program that includes work placement, in a true earn and learn setup. Trainees are usually on the training visa subclass 407- a visa sanctioned by the Australian government that permits the applicant to take part in training which is organized by the workplace-based occupational organizations. It is usually for those candidates who wish to improve their skills to get a better job or want to develop their skills in the professional field.

So, we are seeking Hospitality professionals who are looking to make a change in their life, wanting to move abroad for a brighter future.

Australian Training Visas for Hospitality Workers

The Australian Hospitality Industry has been growing steadily, with experts attributing the growth to factors such as an increase “foodie” culture, business-savvy workers starting hospitality businesses, Australia’s ever-increasing population, and the overall increase in consumer demand.

All Hospitality-related occupations are projected to show growth until at least 2025, with the strongest growth areas expected to be waiters, F&B, cafe/restaurant managers, and chefs. According to the Skills Priority List: June 2021, occupations in national shortage with an estimated strong future demand related to the hospitality sector also include Baker, Pastrycook, Chef, and Cook.

This is an excellent opportunity for overseas workers! They can help the Australian economy grow, while also getting the opportunity to live overseas, work, and gain a career-relevant certification through our traineeship program. But don’t just hear it from us, let’s hear from one of our past clients…
